Jewelry Brooch Pin & Earrings – Rare Vintage 1950’s Marcel Boucher Le Couturier Collectible

Marcel Boucher Le was born in Paris; Marcel Boucher worked as a jewelry designer for Cartier, who brought him to the United States. In the 1930s, he began to take a work with Mazer Bros, where he worked until he established his very own company in 1937.  Boucher designed his first line of costume jewelry and in 1939, sold a collection of his designs to the New York City store Saks 5th Avenue. Boucher made a brand name for himself creating bold, imaginative, enameled pieces that were personal artwork, with brooches shaped like fruits, animals and human figures. Particularly, collectors covet his fantasy bird pieces from the 1940s. Boucher items, that are usually signed, can be roughly dated based on their products number and mark. In 1944, he changed the company name from Marcel Boucher Ltd. to Marcel Boucher & Cie . Early pieces might be marked “Marboux” or with his initials in a cartouche .“MB Sterling” was utilised between 1942 and 1944. Pieces made between 1944 and 1949 may be marked with a Phrygian cap above his initials. Later on pieces are marked “Marcel Boucher” or “Boucher.” After 1955, the copyright symbol appears before his name. When Marcel Boucher died in 1965, his wife, Sandra, began to take over the company.

Gold Tone Flower Brooch Pin:

Any stylish customers would concur that a brooch is a must have for a classical jewelry piece and it’s no longer just available to our grandmothers. All these brooches are stylishly extremely versatile, pinnable to shirts or dresses, sweaters, hats, cardigans, belts, and scarves. For a creative take on the brooch, pin a cluster of them onto your very own bag or headpiece and voila! Even when you wear them or perhaps you just admire someone that will wear them well, brooches can be a very good way to breathe a little extra existence and unique personality into your own out-fits. A decorative piece of jewelry, basically metal, that fastens onto a piece of dressing, brooches shows a detailed story. There are various styles, which range from classical to current, pop culture personal references, as such they’re great indicators of eras past and, because of that, there’s truly something for everyone.

Earrings – Rhinestones:

It has been stated a lot of the time that a woman is never fully dressed until she puts her earrings on! With that being said, choosing earrings as a gift for someone else, certainly, has a lot of things to consider. A few of these considerations include:

  • pierced or clipped
  • allergy to particular materials
  • how much weight will there be upon the ears and is there a preference
  • how long does the recipient like to wear earrings
  • the hairstyle of a person you are choosing for
  • do they wear glasses
  • What is the face shape
  • are they for casual , professional or even dinner date wear

For many times jewelry has continued to be the most desired gift for a woman. Nevertheless, opting for a suitable piece of jewelry isn’t simple in spite of a large amount of offered adornments.
